  • Networking. 95% of the engineering work in Maryland is being performed by ACEC/MD members. Your membership gives you exclusive opportunities to form a collaborative team of experts comprised of the state’s top firms.
  • Leading Professional Development. ACEC/MD's leadership development and training programs are targeted for both established engineering firms and the new generation of rising stars. Innovation and developing new ways to proactively participate in and benefit local communities is a primary focus of these sessions.

Design is the initial step in the construction process. It dictates everything that follows. The size and layout of the facility; type of construction materials; capacity of mechanical and electrical systems; energy efficiency; and other factors are all impacted by the design of a project.

Since 1951, National Engineers Week has helped to increase public awareness and appreciation of the engineering profession and to spotlight the accomplishments of engineers. Join us at the Engineers Club and the Baltimore Museum of Industry for the many activities celebrating National Engineers Week and the Maryland Engineering Challenges.
