This event continues an ACEC/MD effort to host educational forums on industry topics to focus on best practices, lessons learned, and future efforts. The event will offer a high-level overview of asset management nationally followed by a concentration on transportation asset management across Maryland with keynote speakers from FHWA and MDOT, followed by a panel discussion featuring MDOT Leadership on asset management, Directors responsible for asset management at MDTA, MDOT SHA, MDOT MTA, and a local MPO perspective from BMC. Topics of discussion for the panel will include: 1) State of Good Repair for transportation infrastructure across Maryland, 2) Accomplishments and progress across all TBU’s with MDOT leadership – with highlights of key success stories, and 3) MDOT Asset Management Goals and how these will influence capital investment in the CTP.
