ACEC/MD welcomes you to join us for the October General Membership Luncheon Meeting followed by an ACEC/MD Panel on Asset Management – “State of the Practice in Maryland.”

During the Membership Meeting, we will announce the finalists in this year’s Engineering Excellence Awards competition. Also, we will draw the winners in this year’s ACEC/MD-sponsored ACEC/PAC Raffle.

Asset Management has become a nationally critical organizational approach to achieving State of Good Repair goals that optimize infrastructure conditions and capital investment. This event continues an ACEC/MD effort to host educational forums on industry topics to focus on best practices, lessons learned, and future efforts. The event will offer a high-level overview of asset management nationally followed by a concentration on transportation asset management across Maryland with keynote speakers from FHWA and MDOT, followed by a panel discussion featuring MDOT Leadership on asset management, Directors responsible for asset management at MDTA, MDOT SHA, MDOT MTA, and a local MPO perspective from BMC. Topics of discussion for the panel will include: 1) State of Good Repair for transportation infrastructure across Maryland, 2) Accomplishments and progress across all TBU’s with MDOT leadership – with highlights of key success stories, and 3) MDOT Asset Management Goals and how these will influence capital investment in the CTP.
