ACEC/MD advocates for the interests of the Maryland engineering and design services industry before local, state and federal governments.

These advocacy efforts are supported by the active participation of our member firms, including the ACEC/MD Legislative Committee and our professional advocacy partners who play a key role in communicating our legislative and regulatory priorities to lawmakers.

ACEC/MD and ACEC National's legislative priorities include updating the tax code to prioritize innovation and growth; supporting pro-growth immigration and tax policies to expand the engineering talent pipeline; supporting investment in surface transportation and other critical infrastructure programs.
